Licensed & insured, CSLB #1021284, a short drive east of our Valley Glen shop. Free on-site estimate: (888) 357-9992.
The Right Image Approach
Studio City is one of the most design-driven kitchen markets in the Valley. It's an affluent, media-industry neighborhood strung along Ventura Boulevard, and homeowners here want a kitchen that lives up to the house — whether that's a 1950s mid-century in Colfax Meadows or a traditional two-story near the CBS Studio Center. The one thing almost everyone asks for is the same: open it up.
We're based a short drive west in Valley Glen, and we've remodeled kitchens across Studio City for over a decade — from the flat streets of the Silver Triangle to the winding hillside lots up toward Fryman Estates. Our team handles every trade in-house: demo, framing, structural, cabinetry, stone, tile, and finish carpentry. One crew, one fixed-price contract, one point of contact from demo day to your final walkthrough.
The Studio City kitchen is usually two projects at once — the high-end finishes you're after, and the structural work to remove the wall that closes the kitchen off from the rest of the home. We coordinate the engineering, the beam, and the shoring in-house, so the open layout you want is executed cleanly and safely, not improvised.
And every permit is pulled through LADBS and closed with a signed final inspection — the documentation that protects your home's value in a market where buyers and appraisers expect it.

What We Build
The signature Studio City project: removing the wall between a closed kitchen and the living room to create a true open-concept great room. We coordinate the structural engineering, beam sizing, temporary shoring, and LVL or steel install — all permitted through LADBS, all under our contract.
Full-custom and semi-custom programs matched to Studio City architecture — flat-slab and rift oak for mid-century homes, inset and Shaker for traditional. Dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close hardware, and integrated pantry and organization, built and installed by our own team.
We work directly with stone fabricators — no middleman markup. Quartz, quartzite, marble, and porcelain slab, with waterfall islands, integrated undermount sinks, and matched backsplash. The island is usually the centerpiece of a Studio City open kitchen, and we template and build it to suit.
Large-format porcelain, handmade ceramic, natural stone, and zellige, plus wide-plank and engineered wood flooring that flows the new kitchen into the rest of the home once the wall is gone — installed by our in-house crew with proper edge and transition detailing.
Panel-ready refrigeration, integrated dishwashers, professional ranges and hood venting, pot-filler rough-in, and layered lighting — all planned before cabinets are set, so the high-end appliances Studio City homeowners choose fit precisely.
Dedicated circuits, GFCI protection, island power and plumbing, and updated service where the older homes need it — all rough-in permitted and inspected through LADBS, with engineered foundation and access details handled on hillside homes south of Ventura.
Building in Studio City
Studio City reads differently block to block, and the kitchen work changes with it. In the flat neighborhoods north of Ventura — Colfax Meadows, the Silver Triangle, and the streets around the CBS Studio Center — you find well-kept mid-century and traditional homes where the win is opening a closed floor plan into the connected, open-concept kitchen that's in such high demand here.
South of Ventura, up toward Fryman Estates and the streets near Fryman Canyon and Laurel Canyon, the homes get larger and more architectural — and the site gets more demanding. These hillside lots often need engineered foundations and careful access and staging for materials and crew. It's specialized work, and we design and permit for it from day one so it never stalls the project.
Everything is City of Los Angeles, permitted through LADBS. Our shop is a short drive west in Valley Glen, so Studio City is a genuine home market for us — close enough that a project lead can be on your site regularly, not managing your kitchen from across the county.
What It Costs
| Project Tier | Typical Range | What's Involved |
|---|---|---|
| Refresh | $40K–$65K | New custom cabinets and stone counters in the existing footprint, backsplash, fixtures, and lighting — a high-quality update to the same layout. |
| Full Remodel | $65K–$110K | Gut renovation with new electrical and plumbing, cabinetry, stone, island, tile, and appliances — the typical Studio City mid-century or traditional project. |
| Luxury / Hillside | $110K–$200K+ | Open-concept structural work, premium finishes, and larger footprints — including hillside homes near Fryman Canyon with engineered foundations and added access. |
Ranges are typical Studio City estimates for planning only and depend on scope, finishes, and site conditions. Your fixed-price proposal is set after the free on-site consultation. [VERIFY — owner to confirm current cost ranges before publish.]
How It Works
A senior member of our team visits your Studio City kitchen, assesses the layout and — on hillside homes — the access and foundation, and gives you an honest read on cost and timeline. No pressure, no call-center runaround.
Within 3–5 business days you get a fully itemized, fixed-price proposal — cabinets, stone, tile, structural, permits, labor. Hillside requirements included, not tacked on later.
One crew, all LADBS permits, your project lead on-site. We hand you a finished kitchen with a closed permit. Final payment only after your walkthrough approval.
