The Right Image Approach
Woodland Hills sits at the far west end of the San Fernando Valley, and the housing tells that story: larger ranch and traditional homes on generous, suburban lots, built for families rather than starter budgets. That space is an opportunity — these homes have the room for the open-concept great-room kitchen that a tighter tract lot simply can't accommodate.
But Woodland Hills has a second reality that shapes every project we do here: heat. It is one of the hottest spots in all of Los Angeles in summer, and the older homes were built with thin insulation and cooling systems that were never sized for triple-digit afternoons. A smart Woodland Hills kitchen remodel isn't only about cabinets and stone — it's the moment to fix the envelope. With the walls and ceilings open, we add insulation, upgrade or extend the HVAC, and swap in heat-smart, low-E windows.
We do all of it under one roof: demolition, framing, rough plumbing and electrical, cabinetry, countertop templating and installation, tile, HVAC and insulation, and finish carpentry. One team, one fixed-price contract, one point of contact from demo day to your final walkthrough.
And every permit is pulled and closed. Woodland Hills falls under the City of LA, so we submit through LADBS — including the Title 24 energy documentation the city requires — and carry the project all the way to signed-off final inspection.

What We Build
Shaker, slab, inset, and Eurostyle cabinet programs built and installed by our own team — dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close hardware, pantry and organization systems. On the larger Woodland Hills floor plans there's room for a full-height pantry wall and a real working island.
We work directly with stone fabricators — no middleman markup. Quartz (Silestone, Cambria, Caesarstone, MSI), quartzite, granite, porcelain slab, and natural marble. The generous lots here support big waterfall islands, integrated undermount sinks, and matched backsplash.
The signature Woodland Hills project: taking out the wall between a closed kitchen and the living room to create a true great room. We coordinate the structural engineering, beam sizing, temporary shoring, and LVL or steel install — all permitted through LADBS, all under our contract.
The Woodland Hills difference. With the walls open, we add insulation, upgrade or extend HVAC, and install heat-smart low-E windows — the measures that make a west-Valley kitchen livable in summer and carry the Title 24 energy compliance the city requires.
Large-format porcelain, handmade ceramic, natural stone, subway, and zellige — installed by our in-house tile crew with proper edge and transition systems. New flooring flows the kitchen into the adjacent rooms once the wall is gone.
Dedicated circuits, GFCI protection, island power, and panel work where the older homes need it. We handle the rough-in, the LADBS inspections, and the sign-off — including the energy documentation — so the kitchen is safe, efficient, and legal.
Building in Woodland Hills
Woodland Hills is a suburban, family-oriented pocket at the west end of the Valley, and the kitchen work reflects it. In Walnut Acres and Vista de Oro, we see larger ranch and traditional homes on deep lots — the kind of floor plan that's practically asking to become an open-concept great room. Closer to the Warner Center edge, the mix shifts toward newer construction and townhomes, but the homeowner goals are the same: a bigger, brighter, cooler kitchen at the heart of the house.
The defining local factor is heat. Woodland Hills routinely runs among the hottest readings in Los Angeles on summer afternoons, and the original homes here simply weren't built for it. That's why nearly every full remodel we do becomes an energy project too — insulation, HVAC, and heat-smart windows folded into the same scope as the cabinets and stone. It's the single biggest difference between a Woodland Hills kitchen and one over the hill.
Because Woodland Hills is City of Los Angeles, everything is permitted through LADBS, including the Title 24 energy compliance that these upgrades trigger. We handle the full submittal and inspection process. Our shop is in Valley Glen, a straight drive east on the 101 — close enough that a project lead stays hands-on through demo, framing, and final.
