of the Boulevard
Ventura Boulevard splits Sherman Oaks into two very different remodeling worlds. North of the boulevard — Chandler Estates, Sherman Village, and the flats — you find 1940s–60s ranch and traditional homes on level lots, where the kitchen work is about opening up closed layouts and updating finishes to a high standard.
South of Ventura, in the hills toward Longridge Estates and beyond, the homes get larger and more architectural — mid-century, Spanish, and contemporary — and the site gets more demanding. This is where the City of LA Hillside Ordinance comes in: grading limits, haul-route rules, access and staging constraints that a flat-lot contractor rarely deals with. We plan and permit those from day one so they never derail the project.
Everything is City of Los Angeles, permitted through LADBS. We're based just over the hill in Valley Glen, so Sherman Oaks is a genuine home market for us — close enough that a project lead can be on your site regularly, not managing your kitchen from across the county.
